Descriptive Research
To present the specific details of a scenario, social setting or relationship is descriptive research. Descriptive Research, as the term implies, it is to describe the characteristics of a phenomenon. The answers of who, what, when, where and how can be determined by descriptive research. For example Population Census, Labor Force Surveys and Education Census are to be covered in such research.
This study provides a description or profile to the researcher to collect the relevant aspects of the interested phenomena. If we look into a classroom and try to give its profile (characteristics of the students) the relationship of variables may help in diagnosis analysis.
